The extensive part wooded, part open grounds of Rudding Park are very attractive, peaceful and well laid out. One touring area is sloping but terraces provide level pitches. All 95 touring pitches have electricity (10/16A), 15 have hardstandings with water and a drain and a small number of super pitches are available for touring units. Further pitches are let on a seasonal basis and caravan holiday homes and chalets are in separate areas. On the outer edge of the park is The Deer House, a family pub serving bar meals, with limited opening outside the high season weeks. A heated outdoor swimming pool (charged), a ball play area and a play park for children are near the pub.

Two toilet blocks (heated when necessary and may be under pressure at peak times), some washbasins in private cubicles, baby room and bathroom. Laundry rooms. Facilities for disabled visitors. Motorcaravan service point. Shop (6/3-7/11; limited hours). Gas. Restaurant and bar (limited hours outside high season). Heated outdoor swimming and paddling pools (25/5-30/8), supervised (extra charge). Adventure playground. Football pitch. Games room. Golf. WiFi throughout (charged).

Getting there...
From the junction of the A658 and A661 (roundabout), 3 miles southeast of Harrogate take the A658 (Leeds). After 0.5 miles turn sharp right onto a road that passes the golf course, holiday park and hotel. All have separate entrances. O.S.GR: SE333528.
