Ruda Holiday Park is a recent addition to Parkdean Holidays, now comprising 12 parks in Scotland, Wales and southwest England. Ruda is right beside a Blue Flag beach and provides 312 camping and touring pitches in two distinct areas. A large camping area divided into four sections is reserved for tent campers and small motorcaravans (there are some electricity hook-ups around the perimeter and it is served by two clean toilet blocks). Touring caravan and motorcaravan pitches, all with 16A connections, are in a separate field across the road and have direct access to the beach. Here, the toilet facilities are modern with coded entry to stop day visitors using them.

From Barnstaple, take A361 signed Braunton and Ilfracombe. At Braunton, take sharp left (narrow road) towards Croyde (signed) and follow the road all the way to the beach. Entrance to Ruda is on the right. O.S.GR: SS561331.
