Alan Rogers Review
Royal Umpire is a spacious park near the coast and the M6 for overnight or longer stays. The entrance to the park is past a large grass area leading to the security barrier, with reception immediately to the left, and slightly ahead is an unusual sunken garden area that is a pleasing feature. Comprising 60 acres, the park has 189 pitches, almost all with 10A electricity, but a few with 16A. About 75 per cent of the pitches now have gravel hardstanding, some have TV and water connections. Tarmac and gravel roads connect the various pitch areas. There is a shop within 100 yards and a good choice of pubs serving bar and restaurant meals nearby.
