Rowlands Wait Touring Park

Bere Regis, Dorset, South

Alan Rogers Review

Rowlands Wait is in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and part of the park is officially of Special Scientific Interest. The top of the park, edged by mature woods (full of bluebells in spring) is a haven for tents (and squirrels) with marvellous views and provides 30 areas in three descending fields. The rest of the park is a little more formal, and nearer to the central toilet block. Most pitches back on to hedging or trees and they are generally level. There are 71 pitches in total with 23 seasonal pitches. Many walks are possible from the park with information leaflets available from reception.
