Alan Rogers Review
This is a secluded and attractive site in a sheltered location in the protected area of the Fernstein Lakes and part of the Schloss Fernsteinsee estate. There are 125 pitches, all for touring units, in two separate areas and 80 have electricity (4/13A), water and waste water. The pitches are on level grass in front of the reception and services building on four shallow terraces divided by low rails or shrubs. A new area with flat, gravel pitches and all services has been developed at the bottom of the site. There is good shade here and gravel access roads.
Location
Getting there...
Nassereith is 15 km. north of Imst, just south of the Fern Pass. From Imst take road 189 north for 13 km, then left on road 179 and continue past Nassereith. Branch right following Fernpass signs onto main road then take a tarmac entry road 500 m. before the river bridge (well signed). If approaching from north, pass hotel entrance, cross bridge, first entrance is off car park, but second entry after 500 m. is better quality.
