Alan Rogers Review
Rómaí Camping is a large, but basic site with 2,000 pitches within the boundaries of Budapest, next to the Rómaí Fürdö Aqualand centre. There are about 500 touring pitches on level, grassy fields, 180 with 4A electricity. Pitches are under mature trees that provide useful shade with access off tarmac roads. A small buffet on site provides drinks, ice cream, fruit and basics. At the Rómaí pool complex is a good restaurant. The site is an easy half hour by public transport (first stop ten minutes walk) to the bustling and interesting city centre of Budapest.

Coming into town from the north via main road 11, turn left at OMV petrol station. Keep right at the end and continue to keep right until Csalina utca. Turn left at crossing and take first right. Go past swimming pool and turn right again. Coming out of town, take sharp right bend 100 m. after camping sign.
