Riverside Caravan Park

Worksop, Nottinghamshire, Heart of England

Alan Rogers Review

A town centre touring park, adjacent to the Worksop cricket ground, this excellent site is attractive and surprisingly peaceful. Riverside is within easy walking distance of the town centre pedestrian precinct and shops, and the Chesterfield Canal runs close to its northern side offering delightful towpath walks and fishing (children would need to be watched). For those who cannot resist the thwack of leather on willow, this site is ideal. Of the 60 marked level pitches, ten are seasonal and 43 are for touring, mainly on gravel hardstanding, seven are on grass and some are separated by trees and low rails, and all have electric hook-ups (10A).
