Alan Rogers Review
Although the village of Ringoy is quiet and peaceful, it occupies a pivotal position, lying not only midway between two principal ferry ports of Upper Hardangerfjord (Kinsarvik and Brimnes), but also near the junction of two key roads (routes 7 and 13). This site is basically a steeply sloping field running down from the road to the tree-lined fjord with two flat terraces and the shore area for camping. The owners, the Raunsgard family are particularly proud of the site’s remarkable shore-side barbecue facilities. On arrival you find a place as there is no reception – someone will call between 8 and 9 pm.
