With a fine location close to the large nature reserves of the Drents Friese Wold and Het Land van Oost, Recreatiecentrum De Adelhof is an ideal base for a cycling holiday in Drenthe, with miles of cycle tracks in the area. This is also a good site for anglers with a well stocked fishing lake. De Adelhof has 140 spacious touring pitches spread over several fields. The pitches are surrounded by bushes and shrubs to ensure privacy. They are generally around 100 sq.m. and all have electricity. Several attractive children’s play areas have been created in each of the fields. One field in particular is reserved for families with dogs. On site, there is a lively activity programme in high season.

Getting there...
Vledder is 10 km. northeast of Steenwijk. From A38 motorway take the Steenwijk exit and follow N855 north to Frederiksoord and Vledder. The site is just before the village to the right.

Outdoor Activities
At Ascension and Whitsun and for six weeks in high season, a professional programme of recreational activities is arranged. There are several idyllic cycling and walking trails in the park, and fishing is available in the large central pond.
