RCN de Schotsman

Kamperland, Zeeland, West

Alan Rogers Review

De Schotsman is less than an hour’s drive from the port of Zeebrugge and less than two hours from Calais, so it may be ideal for a short break in the low season. It is located on the island of Noord-Beveland, with direct access to the Veerse Meer lake. De Schotsman has its own marina (with slipway) and a good selection of windsurf boards, water skis and water bikes are available for rent. In the high season, there is a full programme of windsurfing and sailing lessons. There is also a large heated outdoor pool with a separate children’s pool, and an inviting restaurant with a terrace overlooking the lake.
