Prinsen is a lively, fjordside site, five kilometres from the attractive small town of Alesund. It is a more attractive option than the more crowded sites closer to town, even so, this is mainly a transit and short-stay site. Divided by trees and shrubs, and sloping gently to a small sandy beach with views down Borgundfjord, the site has 100 grassy pitches, 34 cabins and 7 rooms, 110 electricity connections (16A) and 50 cable TV hook-ups. Reception shares space with the kiosk and freshly baked bread can be ordered daily.
