Plas Gwyn Caravan & Camping Park

Caernarfon, Gwynedd, North Wales

Alan Rogers Review

In a beautiful location, this traditional, family run touring site is within the grounds of a house that was built in 1785 in the Georgian style with a colonial style veranda. The 30 touring caravan pitches are set around the perimeter of a slightly sloping grass field, and there are eight hardstandings for motorcaravans. The separate tent field has ten pitches. There are 36 electric hook-ups (16A) of which 17 also provide water and waste water. In 2011, two ‘timber tents’ were added for a touch of luxury camping. Please note there is minimal site lighting on the caravan field and none on the tent field, a torch could be very useful. A further separate field houses five caravan holiday homes available to rent.
