Alan Rogers Review
An attractive and welcoming site has been created as a series of terraces behind a working farm. Situated on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, Plas Farm perfectly blends the campsite into the surrounding countryside. Sian and John Jones will give you a warm welcome and you get an immediate feel for the beautiful surroundings. The view is different from each of the terraces, and from the bottom terrace a woodland walk circles the site and is used as a dog walk. The 40 pitches all have electric hook-up (10/16A) and 31 are fully serviced. On a separate field there is provision for 30 tents, some with electric supply. Access could be difficult for large outfits, so telephoning in advance is recommended.
Facilities
Two brand new blocks were created in 2011, with a mixture of cubicles and open washbasins, showers and toilets for both sexes. For disabled visitors there is a shower, toilet and washbasin. A family room has further disabled facilities and baby changing. Laundry with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. Children’s play area with low-level climbing frame. WiFi over site (charged). An area has been created above the site with benches to sit and admire the views.
