Park Grubhof is a well organised, spacious site in a very scenic riverside location. The 200 pitches all with 12A electricity, have been carefully divided into separate areas for different types of visitor – dog owners, young people, families and groups, and a quiet area. There are 150 very large pitches, all with electricity, water and drainage, along the bank of the Saalach river. Although new, the central building housing reception, a cosy inn, a shop with caféteria, as well as a super sauna and wellness area and some of the site’s sanitary facilities, has been built in traditional Tirolean style using, in part, materials hundreds of years old reclaimed from old farmhouses. The result is most attractive.

Facilities

Two attractive, modern sanitary units built with plenty of glass and wood, give a good provision of all facilities. Large showers. Some washbasins in cubicles. Saunas, steam bath, massage, fitness room. Separate facilities for canoeists. Motorcaravan service point. Shop, restaurant and bar. WiFi (free). Playground. Games room. Children’s playroom. Watersports. Cabins to rent. Hotel and B&B accommodation.

Location

Getting there...
From A12 exit 17 (south of Kufstein) take B178 east to St Johann in Tyrol, then continue on the B178 to Lofer, then south on B311 towards Zell am See. Site is 200 m. after the Lagerhaus filling station on the left.
