Salzburg and Panoramacamping Stadtblick are a superb combination. From this 70 pitch site with excellent new sanitary facilities, there are views over the city to Salzburg’s hilltop castle beyond. The city is easily reached, either from a bus stop only a few minutes walk away, or tours can be arranged departing directly from the site. All the 70 level pitches are on grass-gravel with 6A electricity and are arranged on shallow terraces with a separate area for tents. The site’s restaurant is extremely good value. Mornings (from 08.00) fresh bread and breakfast are available and evenings (18.00-21.00) there is a comprehensive menu; do try the regional specialities.

From A1 exit 288 (Salzburg-Nord) turn south towards city. Approaching the first set of traffic lights get into the right hand lane, turn right here on a minor road (site signed) and continue to top of hill, and follow site signs.
