Olberg is a delightful small farm site, close to Lake Øyeren and within 70 km. of Oslo. There are 35 large, level pitches and electricity connections (10-16A) are available for 28 units located on neatly tended grassy meadow with trees and shrubs. The reception building also houses a small gallery with paintings, glasswork and other crafts. A short drive down the adjacent lane takes you to the beach on Lake Øyeren, and there are many woodland walks in the surrounding area. Please bear in mind that this is a working farm. In high season fresh bread is available (except Sunday) and coffee, drinks, ices and snacks are provided. The old church and museum at Trøgstad, and Båstad church are worth visiting. Forest and elk ‘safaris’ are arranged.
Facilities
Excellent, heated sanitary facilities are fully equipped and include a ramp for wheelchair access and one bathroom for families or disabled visitors. Laundry facilities. Small kitchenette with full size cooker and food preparation area. Kiosk. Snacks available. Craft gallery. Playground.
