High up in the Lammertal Valley is this small, hilltop farm site with attractive views of the surrounding mountains. Part of a working farm, it has a total of 70 pitches, of which 40 are for tourers. All are serviced with electricity (10A), water and drainage. The site is quiet at night, and dark so a torch would be useful. The small, fenced swimming pool (10x5 m) is unheated, and has paved surrounds. The site has new, attractive sanitary facilities, completed in 2010, and together with its rural location and a friendly atmosphere is a good site for those seeking some peace and quiet.

Abtenau is 34 km. southeast of Salzburg. From A10 exit 28 (Golling), take B162 east for 14 km. and site is signed to the left about 2.5 km. before Abtenau (sat nav is unreliable).
