Located in the tiny and picturesque village of Funtana, this peaceful site is part of the Camping on the Adriatic group. Istra has a fine array of facilities and, although there is no pool, it is surrounded by sparkling sea water on three sides. The formally marked pitches ring the peninsula and some are directly at the water’s edge giving great views of the island off to the south (early booking is advised). There are 1,000 pitches on site with 745 for touring, most with ample shade and varying in size from about 60-120 sq.m. The ground is undulating and some areas have been cut into low terraces.
Facilities
Three old and three new sanitary buildings provide toilets, washbasins, showers (hot and cold), hair dryers and some facilities for disabled campers. Laundry facilities. Small supermarket. Restaurant and bars. Play areas. Entertainment for children in high season. Organised sport. Minigolf. Tennis. Massage. WiFi near reception. Dogs are allowed in some areas.

Location
Getting there...
Site is signed off the Porec - Vrsar road 6 km. south of Porec in the village of Funtana. Access for large units could be difficult when turning off the main road from the direction of Porec. If this looks as if it might be difficult, go past the signed turning and turn around in the night club car park a few metres further on. The problem is less when approaching from Vrsar.
