Monkey Tree covers 56 acres and boasts an impressive entrance and smart reception. There are 600 pitches with 550 for touring units and 50 caravan holiday homes to rent in their own area. The majority of the park benefits from established landscaping and hedging which offers a degree of privacy. The more recently developed area is showing promising signs having been planted with hedging in the same manner. The pitches are of a good size and most have electricity (13/16A). Serviced pitches with hardstanding include some extra large pitches which also include the use of private facilities in the toilet block. During the holiday season there is much going on at Monkey Tree.
Facilities
The original block (refurbished) supplements seven new modern timber blocks with heating, providing for all needs including facilities for babies and disabled visitors. Private en-suite facilities for use with the super pitches. Laundry. Motorcaravan services. Gas supplies. Shop (mornings only in low season). Club with entertainment, bar and restaurant (main season and B.Hs). Takeaway (high season). Outdoor pool and paddling pool (Whitsun-end Sept). Trampolines (supervised, with charge). Bouncy castles. Three adventure play areas. Amusement arcade. Fishing lakes. Caravan storage.

Getting there...
Follow the A30 ignoring all signs for Newquay. At Carland Cross with windmills on the right, carry straight over following signs for Perranporth. After 1 mile turn right at Boxheater Junction on B3285 signed Perranporth and Goonhavern. Follow for 0.5 miles then turn right into Scotland Road for 1 mile to park on the left. O.S.GR: SW801546.
