Alan Rogers Review
This established site is very popular, with many customers returning for the well maintained facilities and easy access to fishing and boating. In the centre of Lofoten, alongside a tidal fjord with mountains all around, the setting and location is quite idyllic. Large terraces provide fine views for most of the 200 pitches, mainly grass, some with hardstanding, with electricity for 110 (10/16A). Lyngvaer provides a base to absorb the island’s scenery and traditions in an area which also offers walking, ornithology and photography.
Location
Getting there...
From Svolvaer turn south west on E10 towards Kabelvag for 5 km. Site is on left in 14 km. from Kabelvag. The site is 110 km. north on E10 from Moskenes on the right. Ferries link mainland from Skutvik to Svolvaer or from Bodø to Moskenes. Ferries can be busy in high season so it is possible to take the long drive to Lofoten via greatly improved roads with new bridges and tunnels.
