Alan Rogers Review
This caravan and camping park is set deep in the 320 hectares of the Lough Key Forest Park. Comprising mixed woodland including giant red cedar, beech, ash and oak trees, the forest is bounded by Lough Key and incorporates several of its islands. The rustic design of the main building on the park (which houses reception, a campers’ kitchen, a TV room, and the sanitary and laundry facilities) blends well with the wooded environment. The well landscaped, five-hectare site provides space for 52 touring units with electricity connections and ample water points. There is a separate area for tents. The history of the parkland goes back to 1184.
