Lemonford Caravan Park

Newton Abbot, Devon, West Country

Alan Rogers Review

Lemonford is a well run, neat and tidy site for all ages and families on the southern edge of the National Park, some three miles from both Ashburton and Newton Abbot. Personally run by the Ayres family, it is nicely landscaped with a mix of trees and shrubs and covers 7.5 acres. Although close to the main road, it is set in a sheltered, peaceful dip bordered by the pretty River Lemon. There are 87 touring pitches (around 40 used as seasonal pitches) on level grass and grouped in four areas with some new fully serviced pitches available. Most pitches have 10A electricity (some 16A), 76 have hardstanding. There are several holiday homes in the centre of the touring area and in separate areas at the back of the site, with some available to rent.
