Lazar Kamp

Kobarid, Slovenia, Slovenia

Alan Rogers Review

Lazar Camp is a fairly open site with a relaxed atmosphere, from which there are good views of the surrounding mountains. Located in the countryside 40 m. above the Soca River, popular with wild watersport fans, there are plenty of walking and mountain biking opportunities directly from the site, in this attractive region of Slovenia. The site has 50 open plan grassy pitches, all with 10A electricity, arranged in large sections divided by low openwork wooden fences. The friendly, informal bar/restaurant (08.00-22.00) serves English breakfast, and fresh bread is available.

Location

Getting there...
When approaching Kobarid from Tolmin on the 102 just before Kobarid turn right on the 203 towards Bovec, after 100 m. take the descending slip road to the right and keep more or less straight on to Napoleon’s bridge (about 500 m) then continue straight on down the gravel road 700 m. to the site (the road is unsuitable for larger units).
