Alan Rogers Review
Peacefully and attractively set in a small valley in the northern Eifel, Wirfttal is a good all-round family site with 250 numbered pitches of which 150 are for tourers. They mostly back onto fences, hedges etc. on fairly flat ground. The pitches (many on gravel) are 80 sq.m. or more, and all have electricity (8A) and TV aerial points. Five individual pitches have water and waste water points. Also part of the site, but separate from the camping, is a large holiday bungalow complex. This is a good base for rambling or mountain biking in the surrounding hills.
