From the valley a series of hairpin bends leads to this attractive hilltop site. From the site and approach road there are wonderful panoramic views of the Saar valley and the surrounding region. A large, well organised site, there are 461 numbered touring pitches of quite reasonable size on flat or slightly sloping ground, separated in small groups by trees and shrubs, with electrical connections (16A) available in most places. There are some tour operator pitches and a separate area with holiday bungalows to rent. This is a site with friendly, English-speaking reception staff, which should appeal to all age groups. July and August are very busy.

Three toilet blocks of very good quality provide washbasins (many in private cabins) and a unit for disabled visitors. Large launderette by reception. Motorcaravan services. Gas supplies. Shop. Restaurant and takeaway, games rooms adjacent. WiFi (charged). Swimming pool (all year). Tennis. Minigolf. Bicycle hire. Large playground. Entertainment in season for all ages.

Getting there...
From Trier on road 51 site is well signed in the northwest outskirts of Saarburg off the Trierstrasse (signs also for ‘Ferienzentrum’) and from all round town. Follow signs up hill for 3 km.
