Alan Rogers Review
Sonnenberg is a pleasant hilltop site reached from the attractive riverside wine village of Leiwen by a 4 km. twisty climb from which there are wonderful views of the Mosel valley. It has a splendid free leisure centre incorporating an indoor activity pool with paddling pool, whirlpool, cascade and slides. Also in this building are ten-pin bowling, sauna, solarium and fitness room, tennis and badminton, plus a snack bar. Combining a bungalow complex (separate) with camping, the site has 140 large, individual and numbered grass/gravel pitches on terraces with electricity (6A) and TV connections.
