Landal Sluftervallei is a good family site, part of a large, well run group (Landal GreenParks). Surrounded by grassland and dunes, 2 km. from the sea on the island of Texel, there are 200 pitches for touring units, together with an adjoining chalet bungalow park. The site is sheltered by trees and shrubs, which also separate the various camping areas. There are excellent facilities for recreation at the bungalow park (10 minutes walk) including an indoor pool complex, as well as a shop, restaurant and bar. The island offers wide, sandy beaches and plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling in the dunes.
Facilities
Two updated toilet blocks each provide 8 WCs, 6 shower units and 8 washbasins which is not adequate, particularly in high season. Microwave. Laundry. All other facilities are at the bungalow park: shop, bar, restaurant, snack bar and takeaway. Games room. Entertainment. Swimming pool. Indoor pool, solarium, sauna and Turkish bath. Bowling. Miniclub. Minigolf. Boules. Tennis. Play area.

Getting there...
Take A9 from Amsterdam to Alkmaar, N9 to Den Helder and ferry signs to Texel. Follow signs to De Cocksdorp, then signs to site.
