Alan Rogers Review
Badenweiler is an attractive spa centre on the edge of the southern Black Forest, and is the site of the largest Roman baths north of the Alps. It is easily accessed from the A5 or B3, but far enough from them to be peaceful. This well kept, family run campsite with pleasant open views is on a hillside close to Badenweiler and the cure facilities. There are four terraces with 100 large, individual grass pitches, 96 for touring and all with electricity (16A), water and drainage. Reception is part of a building which also houses a bar/café with takeaway snacks in the evenings in high season. Here too is a small shop and a children’s room downstairs.
Location
Getting there...
From the A5 about midway between Freiburg and Basel take exit 65 onto the B378 to Müllheim, then the L131 signed to Badenweiler-Ost from where site is well signed.
