In a stunning location, this site is a popular resting place on the long trek to Nordkapp and is only 18 km. from the Arctic Circle and its Visitor Centre. There are 45 unmarked pitches set amongst birch trees with electrical connections (10A) for 28 units and 15 cabins available for rent. In late spring and early summer the river alongside, headed by rapids is impressive and there remains the possibility of the surrounding mountains being snow-capped. A reception kiosk is open 08.00-10.00 and 15.00-22.00 in high season, otherwise campers are invited to find a pitch and pay later at the hotel complex opposite.
