A well established park with top class modern facilities, Kneps Farm is still operated by the family who opened it in 1967. Next to Wyre Country Park, it makes an excellent base from which to explore the area. A VNPR operated barrier system flanks the reception building which also houses a well stocked shop. The 60 marked and numbered touring pitches are generally on hardstandings, 48 with electricity (16A), and all are accessed from tarmac roads. There are also some grassy pitches and a separate area with 50 caravan holiday homes (most privately owned).
Facilities
The large, centrally heated sanitary building is warm and inviting with ten individual family bathrooms, each providing a WC, basin and bath/shower. Separate toilet facilities with electric hand-wash units for men and women. Well equipped room for disabled visitors. Combined baby care/first aid room. Laundry room. Small well stocked shop. Small, fenced playground. Up to two dogs are accepted per unit. WiFi in reception area.

Getting there...
From M55 junction 3, take A585 towards Fleetwood. Turn left at traffic lights, then turn right at traffic lights by Shell station (for Thornton-Cleveleys), straight across next traffic lights, then right at the next roundabout by River Wyre Hotel. After one mile (past school) turn right at mini-roundabout into Stanah Road, continue across second mini-roundabout and eventually into River Road with site entrance ahead of you. Do not use sat nav.
