The road into Marmotel passes various industrial buildings and is a little off-putting – persevere, as they are soon left behind. The campsite itself is a mixture of old and new. The old part provides many pitches with lots of shade and separated by hedges. The new area is sunny until the trees grow. These pitches each have a private sanitary unit, with shower, WC, washbasin and dishwashing. New and very well designed, they are reasonably priced for such luxury. All the pitches have electricity (10A). A lovely restaurant has a wide terrace with views of the hills and overlooking the heated swimming and paddling pools.
Facilities
Good sanitary facilities include baby baths and facilities for disabled visitors. Washing machines. Bar/restaurant, takeaway. Swimming pools. Small play area. Multisports area. Entertainment (July/Aug) including disco below bar, cinema, karaoke, dances, miniclub for 4-12 yrs. Bicycle hire. Fishing. Canoeing.

Getting there...
Heading south on autoroute 75 (free) take exit 41 and follow signs for St Geniez-d’Olt. Site is at western end of village. Site is signed onto D19 to Prades d’Aubrac, then 500 m. on left.
