Popular with Italian families for over 30 years, Camping Florenz has many loyal campers who stay for the whole season. This site, which is most sought after by tourers, is over the sand dunes along the seafront where there are good sized, shaded and level pitches with views of the water. The gently shelving beach has fine grey sand and lots of chairs and umbrellas. Away from the beach area there is heavy shade cover from pine trees. The pitches are mostly a mixture of sand and grass, of a good size and level, all with electricity (3A). A large restaurant with a terrace overlooks the lively entertainment area, where lots of families were enjoying themselves when we visited.

Site is at Lido degli Scacchi just off the S309 running between Chioggia and Ravenna. Both Lido degli Scacchi and site are well signed from the S309.
