Cros de Mouton is a reasonably priced campsite in a popular area. High on a steep hillside, about 2 km. from Cavalaire and its popular beaches, the site is a calm oasis away from the coast. There are stunning views of the bay but, due to the nature of the terrain, some of the site roads are very steep – the higher pitches with the best views are especially so. There are 199 large, terraced pitches (electricity 10A) under cork trees with 73 suitable only for tents with parking close by, and 80 for touring caravans. A range of languages is spoken by the welcoming and helpful owners.
Facilities
Clean, well maintained toilet blocks have all the usual facilities including those for disabled customers (although site is perhaps a little steep in places for wheelchairs). Washing machine. Shop. Bar/restaurant with reasonably priced meals and takeaway. Swimming and paddling pools with many sun beds on the terrace and small bar for snacks and cold drinks. Small play area. Games room.

Getting there...
Take the D559 to Cavalaire (not Cavalière 4 km. away). Site is about 1.5 km. north of Cavalaire-sur-Mer, very well signed from the approach to the town.
