Alan Rogers Review
Karrageen is to be found in a wonderful area of Devon, near Kingsbridge and Salcombe, with a mixture of rolling countryside, hidden coves, cliff tops and sandy beaches. You can walk, sail, surf or just relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery. This is a small family park run personally by the Higgin family situated in the hamlet of Bolberry, one mile up the lane from Hope Cove. The main camping field slopes gently with either sea or rural views. It has been terraced with hedging to provide 70 grassy pitches with 54 electricity connections (10A). There are some 20 places specifically designed for touring caravans.

Getting there...
Travelling south from Exeter on the A38, take the A3121 (signed Ermington and Modbury). Follow signs to Kingsbridge and Salcombe. At Malborough, turn sharp right through the village, following signs for Bolberry for 0.6 mile. Turn right to Bolberry, then after 0.9 miles the park is on the right. On the left is a concrete drive to Karrageen House and reception. Take care with single track lanes, although there are plenty of passing places. O.S.GR: SX692391.
