Kamp Koren Kobarid

Kobarid, Slovenia, Slovenia

Alan Rogers Review

Superbly run by its owner, Lidija Koren, this peaceful, well shaded site is located above the Soca river gorge in the countryside close to Kobarid. A small site with 90 pitches, it is deservedly very popular with those interested in outdoor sports, including hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, canoeing, canyoning, rafting and fishing. At the same time, its quiet location makes it a good site for those seeking a relaxing break. Six attractive, well equipped chalets are a recent addition (2009). The Julian Alps and in particular the Triglav National Park is a wonderful and under-explored part of Slovenia that has much to offer.
