This attractive site is just 8 km. from the Arctic Circle. Large and well organised, it is bordered on one side by the river and with woodland on the other, just 3 km. from the town centre. It has 170 level, grassy pitches, with an area for tents, plus 59 cabins for rent. Electricity (10A) is available to all touring pitches. The site has a heated, open-air pool complex open in summer (no lifeguard). There are opportunities for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing in spring and ice fishing in winter.
