Open all year, Herrfallet Camping is situated on a peninsula and designated nature reserve, on Lake Hjälmaren, one of Sweden’s large lakes. There is a 1 km. long sandy beach on the site and the atmosphere is friendly and ‘green’. All the 100 touring pitches have electricity hook-ups (10/16A) and the area is neatly laid out overlooking the lake where you can hire boats, canoes, pedal boats and go fishing. Fishing is free. You can explore the beautiful and peaceful surroundings by bicycle, which you can hire at reception. There are 45 large cottages of an excellent standard and five a bit smaller (for two people).

Follow signs from the E20/E18. Turn off at Sätra exit towards Arboga and cross the river. Follow signs towards Herrfallet/Västermo. 15 km. from Arboga.
