Alan Rogers Review
Forest Glade, owned and run by the Wellard family, is set in the Blackdown Hills (designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), deep in mid-Devon away from the hectic life on the coast. A sheltered site set amongst woodland with extensive walking opportunities, there are 80 level touring pitches, 62 of which have 10/16A electricity connections, two have full services and 39 have hardstanding. Touring caravans must book in advance and the easiest route for them will be explained then (phone bookings accepted). Although set in the country, the beaches of East Devon are a fairly easy drive away.
Facilities
There is one main toilet block, heated in cold weather, with some washbasins in cubicles. Separate suite for visitors with disabilities. Laundry with washing machines and dryers. Games room. Heated swimming pool (free). Sauna (on payment). All weather tennis court. Separate area for ball games. WiFi throughout (charged). Caravan storage. Wildlife information room.

Location
Getting there...
Park (at the top of a steep hill) is 5.5 miles from M5 exit 28. Take A373 for 3 miles, turning left at camp sign, just past thatched pub on right, towards Sheldon. Park is on left after 2.5 miles. This access is not suitable for touring caravans owing to a steep hill - phone the park for alternative route details. O.S.GR: ST101073.
