Alan Rogers Review
This pretty town site has been leased from the municipality for the last few years by an enthusiastic couple. There are 100 neat and tidy pitches which are separated by hedges (even the pitches for tents) and flowers decorate the site. The level pitches include 75 with electricity (10A) for touring units, 23 for tents and two for caravan holiday homes for rent. At the far end of the site there is direct access to the Loire river and it is this aspect that attracts campers with canoes. The adjacent town swimming pool complex is free for campers. It incorporates a second large pool totally devoted to the sport of water jousting – seven in a boat!
Facilities
Four small toilet blocks, one with cold water only, each provide separate facilities for men and women and some washbasins in cabins. Facilities for disabled visitors. Washing machine and dryer in one block. Small restaurant/snack bar and takeaway (all 1/7-31/8). Club room with TV for bad weather. Fishing and boat launching. WiFi.
