Flaminio Village Camping Bungalow Park

Roma, Lazio, South

Alan Rogers Review

We were impressed with Camping Flaminio. It is an attractive campsite with many flowers, shrubs and trees giving some shade. Being 400 metres from the main road it is protected from traffic noise. Although it is quite a large site there are only 300 pitches, all with 6A electricity, which are approached by ‘environmentally approved’ brick access roads. There is reasonable space allocated to touring units and the majority of these pitches in the lower areas are of average size. Pitches are situated away from the main facilities so there is quite a walk between the two. There are 120 well equipped bungalows attractively arranged in a village-style setting on the slopes.

Location

Getting there...
From the ring road north of the city take Via Flaminia exit 6 south towards the city centre. After 3 km. follow Flaminia signs and bear left where roads split in order to avoid tunnel. Warning: site entrance comes up suddenly on the right as the central barrier ends 150 m. after passing tunnel entrance.
