Fen Farm Caravan & Camping Site

Colchester, Essex, East of England

Alan Rogers Review

Tents were first pitched at Fen Farm in 1923 and since then the park has ‘grown rather than developed’ – something of which owners Ralph and Wenda Lord and their family are proud. The 70 touring pitches are all unmarked, on level grass and within four fields that have a spacious feel to them. An area for 90 holiday homes is separate and screened from the touring area. All pitches have 10A electricity connections and three have hardstanding and are fully serviced. A limited number of seasonal pitches are available on the smaller field, with outstanding views and direct access to the beach. This is an attractive well laid out site with trees and two ponds.

The toilet block in the main touring field includes a family room and shower/toilet for disabled visitors. Laundry room. Gas supplies. Two play areas. Caravan and boat storage. WiFi throughout (charged).
