Erholungspark Irenensee

Uetze, Lower Saxony, North West

Alan Rogers Review

This is an attractively landscaped site set around a shallow lake dotted with islands. With over 700 pitches, there are 200 reserved for tourists, all with electricity (16A), fresh water supply and a drain. Others also have waste water, TV and telephone connections. The pitches are 125 sq.m. in size, arranged on level grass, either in open areas or surrounded by hedges. Large grass areas surround the lake which provides for swimming, sailing and windsurfing. Paddle boats are for hire, but motor boats are not permitted. One small area of the lake is separated off for use by small children.
