Situated as it is on the northern outskirts and within easy reach of the city of Edinburgh, this large, busy Caravan Club site (open to non members) provides an ideal base for touring. Enter the site through rather grand gates to find the visitors’ car park and reception to the left. There are 147 large flat pitches (103 hardstandings, 12 with water tap and waste water disposal) with electric hook-ups (16A) and TV aerial, and provision for 50 tents in a separate field (hook-ups available) with a covered cooking shelter and bicycle stands close by.

Turn right off A720 at Gogar roundabout at end of bypass (signed City Centre, A8). Shortly turn left on to A902 (Forth Road Bridge), then right onto A90.
At Blackhall junction traffic lights fork left into Telford Road (A902). At Crewe Toll roundabout turn left (B9085) and at T-junction (after bridge) turn right at traffic lights towards Leith, A901. Turn left at traffic lights (Silverknowes, Davidson’s Mains). In half a mile at roundabout turn right into Marine Drive. Site is half a mile on the left. O.S.GR: NT212768.
