This very spacious, and cleverly terraced rural site lies in pleasant countryside, quite hidden from the roads by its own wood, and situated to the east of the Rhône valley. Most of the very large pitches are spread out and appear to form natural clearings under pine trees. A grassy lower area is more open and young trees give little shade. Although all the pitches have electricity (3/6A) very long leads are necessary. Of the 74 touring pitches, 25 are taken up by long stay units. The facilities are old but very clean and could entail a long walk. A new pool complex has been added (in 2011) with two pools, a children’s fun pool and a sunbathing area adjacent to the covered bar and terrace. Torches and rock pegs essential. Good English is spoken by the friendly owners.
Facilities
Four basic toilet blocks with washbasins in cabins. Some facilities for disabled visitors but the fairly steep paths and terracing make this site unsuitable for those with walking difficulties. Washing machine. Motorcaravan services. Baker calls July/Aug. Small bar plus takeaway food (July/Aug). Kitchen area with tables under cover. Swimming pool, shallow pool and fun pool. Large sports area. Play area. Communal barbecue (not allowed on the pitches). Some family activities (July/Aug). WiFi at reception.

Getting there...
Leave the N7 16 km. north of Tournon. Turn east on D51, signed Châteauneuf. After about 15 km. at Mureils, turn right on D363, signed St Avit. After 2 km. turn left on D53 (site signed) and site entrance is shortly on the right.
