On the edge of a national forest, close to marshes and a bird sanctuary, and just 1,800 m. from a fine sandy beach, Domaine de l‘Orée will provide ample opportunities for an active holiday whether in the impressive pool complex, using the many sports facilities, venturing out onto the network of footpaths and cycle tracks or just going to the beach. The 53 touring pitches are level and separated by bushes; all have electricity (16A) and 40 also have a water tap and drainage. The remaining 243 pitches are occupied by chalets and mobile homes, many available for rent.
Facilities
Two blocks providing adequate sanitary facilities are of traditional design with British style WCs, good, hot showers (preset) and washbasins in cabins; many of the fittings are a little tired and in need of attention. Baby bath. Basic facilities for disabled visitors. Hot water to dishwashing and laundry sinks. Washing machines, dryers and ironing facilities. Chemical disposal. Small, well-stocked shop, bar with TV, snack bar and takeaway (all from 1/5). Heated outdoor swimming pool and fun pool with slides (from 1/5) plus heated indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi (all season). Play areas. Trampolines. Tennis (free). Cycle hire. Free WiFi in bar and pool area.

Getting there...
Olonne-sur-Mer is 5 km. north of Les Sables-d’Olonne. Site is on D80 coast road between Olonne-sur-Mer and Brem-sur-Mer. From La Roche-sur-Yon via A87/D160, turn west on D949 Les Sables ring road then north on D32 to Olonne-sur-Mer, Site is signed to left in town centre.
