Alan Rogers Review
The small hamlet of Amlach is south of the busy town of Lienz in the western Tirol and surrounded by mountain peaks. Dolomiten Camping is located around the old Amlacher Hof and both the site and the villa are in need of some maintenance. Whilst this is a good location with potentially good amenities, the grounds and sporting facilities were very unkempt when we visited in early July. There are 84 level and numbered pitches, all with 16A electricity. A kitchen and toilets for disabled visitors are behind the villa in a modern building, with all other facilities in the basement of what was presumably a good hotel in its day.

Small swimming pool. Play areas. Minigolf. Games room. Tennis. Internet access. Riding stables. Bicycle hire.

Getting there...
The small hamlet of Amlach is just 2 km. south of Lienz. You need to turn south at the traffic lights near the railway station, go under the railway and over the river then straight on to the site.
