Alan Rogers Review
The Caravan Club’s site at Crystal Palace in south London provides easy access to the city centre and all its many attractions. The pitches are pleasantly arranged in terraces overlooking the ruins of the old Crystal Palace, its park and National Sports Centre. It is surprisingly quiet given its location (with the exception of police sirens and over-flying aircraft). In peak season advance booking is always necessary. Most pitches are on gravel hardstanding, so it is particularly useful for out of season stays. There are places for 126 caravans and motorcaravans, all with electricity (16A). Tents are placed on the site’s well mown lawns near reception, where there are four additional electric points.
