Chertsey Camping & Caravanning Club Site

Chertsey, Surrey, South East

Alan Rogers Review

This long-established site (1926) is splendidly located on the banks of the River Thames, only a few minutes walk from the shops and amenities of Chertsey. A flagship site for the Club, it was totally redeveloped a few years ago at a cost of over £1 million. There are 200 pitches including 56 new serviced pitches with hardstanding and 16A electricity and 15 super service pitches which have TV aerial points, water and waste drainage. The work included a new road system, heated toilet blocks with facilities for disabled visitors, recreation hall and much more.

Getting there...
Suggested: from M25 use junction 11. Turn left at roundabout on A317 towards Shepperton and continue to second set of traffic lights. Turn right then almost immediately left watching for green Club camp sign just before Chertsey bridge; the opening is narrow. O.S.GR: TQ052667.
