Alan Rogers Review
This has to be one of the most exclusive campsites in Italy. It is an integral part of a five-star hotel and has only 15 pitches set in beautifully landscaped gardens, each being provided with a personal bathroom. It is inevitably popular, with guests returning year after year. Although there is clearly no need to leave the site, there are restaurants and bars in the nearby town. Sadly the adjoining beach is rocky but the extensive grass area for sunbathing near the swimming pool and jacuzzi amply makes up for this. The pitches are not generous, so large outfits may be disappointed.
Location
Getting there...
Leave the A14 at Torino di Sangro and join the SS16 south. In Casalbordino Lido go under the railway (good headroom) and go south on the Lungomare. The complex is at the far end of the road.
