Set in the grounds of a small château with spectacular views, this site’s ratings have recently been upgraded and it provides high quality amenities. The grounds are shared with chalets and tents to rent, with these in a separate area. There are 97 touring pitches, all with 6/10A electricity hook-ups on level areas (some large) separated by hedges and trees. The site has an excellent heated swimming pool, a fitness room, sauna, bar/restaurant and takeaway food together with a small shop selling bread and basic groceries. The site is in the centre of an area ideal for walkers, cyclists and climbers.

Facilities

Three very good toilet blocks (two very large) are colourful and very clean. Shower room with facilities for babies. Excellent, spacious facilities for disabled visitors. Small launderette with ironing. Freezer space. Shop. Bar, snacks, takeaway and separate restaurant (all 1/6-11/9). Heated swimming pool (1/6-11/9). Sauna, fitness room and jacuzzi (13/5-11/9). Climbing wall. Daily activities for children (July/Aug). Guided mountain walks and other activities. Fishing. Safe hire. Barbecue area. WiFi (charged).

Location

Getting there...
South of Grenoble take exit 8 from A480 signed Stations de L‘Oisans and follow the D1091 to Briançon. The site is signed just north of Rochetaillée at the junction with the D526. Turn here and site is immediately on the left.
